Thank you for everything, Fredrikstad...

With a heavy heart, we decided not to extend the lease in Litteraturhuset – and Delicatessen Fredrikstad closed permanently on 21 December. We appreciate each and single one of you who have visited us, and cheered us on, over the years! We will forever carry with us the good memories, the joy of sharing foood and all the pleasant meetings by the seaside!

We hope that you will visit one of our restaurants at Aker Brygge, Grünerløkka, Majorstuen or in Tromsø if you hapen to be close, and feel like enjoying some tasty tapas!

Delicatessen tapasbar in Fredrikstad opened its doors in April 2019, as the very first Delicatessen restaurant outside Oslo. It was a big moment – and not least a fantastic opening party!

Delicatessen Fredrikstad was beautifully located by the quay promenade, in the same building as Litteraturhuset Fredrikstad. The restaurant had both a fantastic view and a great outdoor terrace overlooking the water. Delicatessen Fredrikstad welcomed guests in the restaurant as well as delivered catering to both small and large parties in Fredrikstad and the surrounding area.
